Learn what to do if the Domain Name You want is Taken

It is almost impossible to get a short .com domain name unless you are willing to pay a premium for one. In 2006 someone paid $14 million for the name sex.com. It was also reported that beer.com was sold for $7 million and wine.com for $3 million. Slim chance you have a few million dollars “sitting around” to buy an established domain name so let’s look at another option.

Today longer domain names are more acceptable. This opens the door to creative strategies in domain name creation. The following examples illustrate this point.

After the domain name cars.com was taken, someone who missed out on that name created carsdirect.com. After health.com became unavailable

Is This Really How Black Folks Use Twitter?

Check out this article from Slate.com with thoughts about how black people use Twitter. I don't agree with the author's assumptions about how black people use Twitter, and even the author knows that it's not possible to do an accurage demographic analysis, but it's a fair assessment of how younger users tend to maximize social platforms for fun and entertainment. What's more interesting is the Twitter bird graphic that was

Reasons for Decline in Your Search Engine Ranking

So you had a good, respectable search engine rank in Google or any other search engine but now it has dropped significantly and you are after the reasons why it has happened. Now there could be zillions of reasons behind this, no specific way to define what could be the problem or how to fix it. In this thread, we are discussing some major points.

Low Frequency Post

You have lowered your posting frequency or the number of times you update your website or portal. Google prefers those websites and pages which are updated regularly, as this is an indication that a blog is up-to-date with the latest information. More you update your portal, better would be its ranking.
Outsourcing: A Solution to Online Business?

In the world of business, one saying always stays true, and that is Time is Money. Thus, every business owner; at one point or another, is faced with the critical dilemma of having too many activities and jobs to take on. If you lose time you lose money. Therefore, an entrepreneur could easily become plagued by the common stresses and anxieties; that if left untreated can plunge a business into ruin, and ultimately lose focus of the direction toward success. Taking a look at the business world it is evident that many corporations outsource entire departments of manufacturing, technology, and engineering to other countries; such as India or Japan, so that the company can cut back, save money, and focus on the main business. Outsourcing can be great in this scenario. However, it is also

Tactics for Blog Traffic

Blogging; if you know how to do it right, can be a great experience. Unfortunately the majority of people getting online to begin blogging fall into the common frustration of seeing low traffic numbers when they check their stats. Why is this the case? Ultimately it is because getting traffic to a blog is a science, like many other strategies implemented in marketing products and services. There are four ways that can help in achieving more traffic at a quicker rate. Two of the ways to produce an abundant traffic stream consists of writing and promoting your subject and/or niche in other sites, and another strategy to reeling in this traffic is a traditional business tactic in attaining a base of customers; or in regards to blogs, followers.
