Folks are also getting into trouble by not realizing that employers are searching for prospective employees on the internet. When social profiles come up in search results that include inappropriate or questionable content on the individual's personal profile, employment opportunities and job offers can be sacrificed as a result. It's not so much what you post about yourself that can get you into trouble but what others post about you (on your page or theirs) can also be quite damaging.
